Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury bout decision made regardless of Oleksandr Usyk’s outcome

Turki Alalshikh, the Saudi boxing chief, has stated that he will push for a blockbuster battle between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua next.

While the two Britons are set to battle in the coming weeks, Alalshikh was quick to point out that neither outcome would matter.

Anthony Joshua fights Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title in Saudi Arabia on September 21.

Tyson Fury will face Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch after losing his professional boxing unbeaten run in May of this year.

He lost his WBC heavyweight title in the process, but he might reclaim it against the Ukrainian when they face off again on December 15.

If both Britons succeed, they would very certainly face off in one of the most anticipated boxing matches in recent memory in 2025.

But even if they both falter, the two former heavyweight champions of the world look set to fight it out anyway.

Alalshikh, who is in charge of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to promote big fights there and has already contributed to massive contests featuring Fury, Joshua, and Usyk, claims as much.

The Saudi royal advisor, stated: “It will undoubtedly have a significant impact on commerce.

It will be a major fight following the outcome of Usyk vs. Fury, and it will be his third world title victory.

“However, you are ignorant of the future. Suppose Tyson wishes to retire following his altercation with Usyk.

“I’ll make the offer, but what should I do if he declines Even if Usyk prevails?

“To begin with, Dubois has a great opportunity, but it is not simple. In my opinion, Joshua is fighting a challenging and risky opponent.
