Man Utd’s locker room makes Casemiro’s position apparent following Liverpool’s horrifying display.

Manchester United players have united around Casemiro, who has been under fire since his Liverpool nightmare.

The Brazilian midfielder had a terrible afternoon in Manchester United’s 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford, he was directly responsible for each of the first two goals.

The away crowd then mocked Casemiro for making a bad ball that dribbled out of play.

The former Real Madrid star’s afternoon was made even worse when he was replaced by academy graduate Toby Collyer.

Despite Casemiro’s tragedy, his teammates have rallied to his defence in the 24 hours following his nightmare against Liverpool.

Bruno Fernandes was allegedly among those who spoke up in his support in the locker room.

According to The Sun, the Portuguese maestro insisted that Casemiro was not to blame and that it was the team’s obligation to turn things around.

United players have also urged the veteran to recover from his Anfield disappointments.

The midfielder’s future with the club has also been unaffected by his performance on Sunday.
Ten Hag and the club’s new administration were adamant that retaining him would be in their best interests, despite offers from Saudi Arabia.

Casemiro received a rallying call behind the scene, and the same could be said publicly.
Fernandes also supported his colleague in his post-match analysis.

He stated, “The goals are always self-inflicted.” To gift them the goal, you must first make a mistake.
We do not need to point fingers at everyone, that will not help us now.

“When you concede a goal, you can’t just point to one mistake; what’s the sense of claiming Casemiro or Kobbie lost the ball? They dropped the ball because they wanted to be bold. It’s part of football. Don’t make it individualised.

“Casemiro has more experience than me. I don’t need to tell him anything; he understands what football is about.

He has played for two of the world’s finest clubs.

Casemiro will take a break for the following two weeks due to the season’s first international matchups.

He has not been called up for Brazil’s matches against Ecuador and Paraguay.

The midfielder will now focus his attention on United’s next game in two weeks.

On Saturday, September 14, the Red Devils will face struggling Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium.
